Welcome to a culinary adventure where your taste buds don't just savor flavors but feed your soul with the correct amount of energy to keep your Chakra’s spinning clockwise! Yes, you heard it right. The ancient wisdom of chakras aligns beautifully with the joy of eating. Let's embark on a journey to align our seven chakras through the magic of tasty food.


1. Root Chakra (Muladhara) – An Earthy Delight

Our journey begins at the base, the Root Chakra, symbolizing stability and grounding. To balance Muladhara, think earthy flavors. Saute yourself up some root vegetables like carrots, potatoes, and beets. Imagine each bite grounding you, connecting you to the earth, as if you're a tree with deep roots.

Fruits: Apples, beets, tomatoes, pomegranates, strawberries, and raspberries

Meat: Red (beef, bison)

Veggies: Root vegetables like beets, carrots, potatoes, garlic, and onions

Spices: Horseradish, Ginger, turmeric, cayenne, hot paprika, and chives.

Think: Fire Cider, soup, stew, etc.

2. Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) – The Splash of Creativity

Flowing upwards, we reach the Sacral Chakra, the center of creativity and pleasure. Citrus fruits like oranges and tangerines are your go-to delights. As you enjoy these juicy treats, envision waves of creativity and joy washing over you, igniting a vibrant, orange glow within.

Fruits: Coconut, mangos, melons, oranges, passion fruit, strawberries, and other tropical fruits, nuts, Meat: Salmon

Veggies: Carrots, peppers

Pantry:honey

Spices: Cinnamon, vanilla, coca, sweet paprika.

Think: Hawaiian foods, fruit salad, Strawberry Fool, daiquiri, Mango smoothie


3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) – The Fiery Bite

Next up is the Solar Plexus Chakra, our inner sun, radiating confidence and power. To balance Manipura, indulge in spicy foods like ginger or peppery spices. Feel the warmth spread through your body, fueling your inner fire, empowering you to shine bright.

Fruit: Bananas, pineapple, lemons

Veggies: Squash

Pantry: Grains like beans, oats, spelt, sprouted rice, rye, flax, sunflower seeds, and legume, milk, cheeses,and yogurt

Spices: Chamomile, cumin, curry, Ginger, mint, and turmeric.

Think: Mediterranean cuisine, teas

4. Heart Chakra (Anahata) – The Love Potion

In the center lies the Heart Chakra, the wellspring of love and compassion. Green leafy vegetables and green teas are perfect for Anahata. As you sip a cup of green tea or nibble on a spinach salad, imagine your heart space blossoming with love and kindness, enveloping you in a soothing, green aura.

Fruits: Green apples, kiwi, lime

Flower Petals: Rose, hibiscus, carnation,nasturtiums, phlox

Veggies: Green leafy vegetables like kale, dandelion greens, spinach, peas

Spices: Basil, cilantro, mint, parsley, thyme, and spirulina.

Think: Mexican food, salads, Matcha or green juices, teas and smoothies.

5. Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) – The Symphony of Flavors

Moving to the Throat Chakra, the hub of communication. To balance Vishuddha, sip soothing liquids like herbal teas or fruit juices. Each swill is like a melodious note, enabling your words to flow harmoniously, painting your world with a clear and serene blue sky's.


Fruits: Tree growing fruits like figs, grapes, Mexican husk tomato, plums, blueberries, blue elderberries, Saskatoon berries

Veggies: Blue (cabbage,carrot, peppers, potatoes, tomatoes)

Spices: Ashwagandha, bladderwrack,lemongrass, sage.

Think: Fruit juices, coconut water, herbal teas, raw honey, and lemon

6. Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) – The Intuitive Indulgence

As we ascend higher, we reach the Third Eye Chakra, the seat of intuition. Dark chocolates or purple foods like dragon or passion fruit can be your mystical allies. As you enjoy these, focus on your forehead, envisioning an indigo light, awakening your intuition and inner wisdom.

Fruits: Dark blue/purple colored fruits like blackberries, blueberries,raspberries, red grapes, Veggies: Purple (cabbage, carrots, grapes, kale),eggplant

Spices: Cacao, lavender, mint, jasmine

Think: Parfait

7. Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) – The Divine Connection

Finally, at the pinnacle, is the Crown Chakra, connecting us to the divine. This chakra calls for a light, detoxifying diet – fasting or consuming light, natural foods. As you embrace this simplicity, imagine a violet light at the crown of your head, linking you to the universe's infinite wisdom.

Fruit: Cranberries, lemon, and watermelon

Pantry:  sauerkraut, and seaweed

Veggies: Artichokes, asparagus, avocado, broccoli, beets, bitter greens, collard greens, fennel, grapefruit, mushrooms, onion, and kale

Spices: Chlorella, spirulina, garlic, ginger, ginseng, gotu kola, and turmeric.

Think: Coconut water, detoxing herbal (teas, fruits, veggies), and raw honey.

MEMO: Even though, each Chakra is related to a color, it doesn’t necessary mean the food you consume needs to be of that color. It’s not just vibrational energies relating to color but the symbolism of elements in our life that kick start our Chakras into motion.
