Star light, star bright,
First star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have this wish I wish tonight.

To fully appreciate these alignments, consider the following tips:
• Timing: The best viewing times are typically an hour after sunset or before sunrise, depending on the specific alignment.
• Location: Choose areas with minimal light pollution, such as rural settings or designated dark-sky parks, to enhance visibility. There are Dark-sky preserves such as; Cherry Springs State Park in Pennsylvania, Natural Bridges National Monument in Utah. National Parks; Death Valley, Big Bend and Yellowstone also have vast areas with no light pollution.
• Equipment: While Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn are often visible to the naked eye, a telescope (8” or larger) or binoculars will aid in observing Neptune and Uranus. If photographing, telephoto lens (e.g., 85mm to 300mm) with a wide aperture (e.g., f/2.8) is recommended. This lens combination provides a high magnification and narrow field of view. Don’t forget the tripod! There are other photography goodies you could invest in if this is your deal, however if you just want a quick shot to show your friends, the mentioned above will sacrifice.
